The journey began with a series of panoramic beach paintings on 1:3 ratio canvases. While these pieces captured the essence of the scenery, they didn’t fully recreate the immersive experience of standing on a beach. That’s when I introduced the curve. The concave structure transforms the viewing experience entirely, mimicking the way our eyes naturally perceive the world. As your gaze travels along the curve, it slows down, giving you more time to absorb the details and emotions of the scene. The curvature also aligns with your peripheral vision, ensuring a distraction-free view of nothing but the tranquil beach, especially when standing at the center.
This artwork is meticulously painted on all five visible sides, excluding the back, offering a multidimensional perspective. To display this masterpiece, you have a few options:
